Co-Founder & CEO

Dr. Arash Hakhamian DDS comes from a family of dental professionals and has spent his career serving the dental community as a teacher, consultant, volunteer, and patient advocate. He was named as one of the Top 40 dentists under 40, Top 100 Dentists worldwide, Dental Entrepreneur of the year, and inducted to the top 1% of dental professionals worldwide.

Dr. Hakhamian graduated with honors from both UCLA and USC School of Dentistry. He was one of the co-founders of the Global Dental Implant Academy and is an expert in dental surgery, Teledentistry, mobile dentistry, and dental cosmetics. Under his leadership, Dentulu was recognized as the Top Teledentistry Technology at the American Dental Association’s annual conference in both 2020 and 2021.

Shiva is an entrepreneurial product technologist and executive with over 18 years in the development of software products and services. Executive services for technology product management and delivery. Consulting for healthcare providers, medical software companies, and County Departments of Health. Focused on providing strategic product roadmaps, technical delivery, streamlining operations, and increasing receivables.

Shiva had been a visionary and dynamic technology executive with demonstrated success in driving technology strategy and delivering year over year business and revenue growth. Very experienced in building & leading a 300+ members team spread across 5+ countries, supporting 10+Million revenue and managing 5+million budgets.

Shiva’s unique perspective comes from extensive diversified experience (large corporations, start-ups, roles in Engineering, Professional Services, Pre-Sales and Sales). Often cited for creative approaches to problem solving, developing strong teams and establishing lasting relationships with customers and business partners, his transformational management style that fosters creative and critical thinking.

Shiva and Dr. Hakhamian, with their background and several years of experience in technology and Dentistry respectively, teamed up with several industry experienced professionals to start Dentulu, with their leadership Dentulu was twice recognised as best of class technology by American Dental Association for the year 2020 and 2021.

Philanthropy

Dentulu was founded in response to disparities in oral health around the world due to outdated and inefficient dental delivery models and limited access to quality care. Unfortunately, millions of patients still continue to live in “Dental Deserts” and either do not have access to dental care or are unable to afford or travel to the dentist.

Dentulu provides access to bridge the oral disparities persistent in Dentistry and uses its technology and network of nationwide dentists to deliver dental care direct to consumers where and when they need it most. Dentulu also offers low cost, and consolidated software solutions to dentist who can use this advanced technology to better serve their patients.
